Leading industrial and logistics contractor Magrock is celebrating a series of major project wins after its Midlands & North regional team secured £30 million worth of new contracts.
The latest successes reinforce Magrock's growing presence across the region and underline the strength of its specialist expertise in the industrial and logistics sector.
Among the newly awarded projects, Magrock has been appointed to deliver the fit-out of a 273,000 sq ft facility at DIRFT near Daventry for an incoming tenant in the food production sector. The company has also been selected to complete the construction of two Mid-Tech facilities in Cambridge, totalling 46,296 sq ft.
In addition to this, work is underway to deliver five industrial units at Tungsten Park, Lichfield South, delivering a combined 132,700 sq ft of high-quality industrial space.
Whilst Magrock has relatively recently established its Midlands & North regional office in Coventry, the team has already built an impressive track record, delivering and securing projects totalling 847,000 sq ft with a combined value of £92 million over the last five years.
The regional operation is led by Geoff Cutts, Construction Director – Midlands, and Jack Keating, Commercial Director – Midlands. Together, they oversee the growing team based in the North covering project management, quantity surveying, design management and in-house sustainability expertise.
Further strengthening the regional team, Magrock has recently appointed Edward Hudson as a Business Development Manager. This appointment takes the number of Midlands based employees to twenty and reflects the company's continued commitment to expanding its client relationships and supporting growth across the region.
Edward Hudson brings over 20 years of experience in business development and marketing roles across the construction industry, having worked with both national and regional contractors. He joins Magrock with extensive experience across multiple sectors and a strong track record of developing client relationships, increasing brand awareness and delivering process-driven business growth. Edward will play a key role in supporting Magrock's continued expansion across the Midlands and beyond.
As demand for high-quality industrial, logistics and advanced manufacturing facilities continues to grow, Magrock is actively looking to further strengthen its presence throughout the Midlands and the North.
