New Chapter: London and South Office Expansion

Marking another major milestone, our London and South office have relocated to larger premises in King’s Hill, Kent. With continued rapid growth, and the ongoing expansion of the internal team, Magrock has taken a significant step forward with this move.

‍

The office space has been designed to provide a modern, collaborative, and wellbeing-focused workspace and demonstrates our ability to deliver high‑quality Cat B projects at pace, applying the same standards of planning, coordination and craftmanship that define our wider construction portfolio. Magrock delivered the high‑end CAT B fit‑out at 18 Kings Hill Avenue, transforming 8,484 sq. ft of open‑plan space into a modern, flexible workplace to support the business’ continued progression. The project was completed within an ambitious 11‑week programme, showcasing disciplined programme management and strong collaboration across the project team.

‍

Works involved a full reconfiguration of the previously white, uninspiring box into a modern, flexible, exciting space that provides open‑plan work areas, private meeting rooms, a logistics and IT suite, collaborative breakout spaces and a dedicated rest and recreation area designed to support staff wellbeing. Works included new partitioning and ceilings, comprehensive mechanical and electrical upgrades, full decoration, and detailed FF&E installation.

‍

Delivering a project of this quality within such a compressed timeframe required a joined‑up approach across design, delivery and subcontractors.

‍

With the larger open-plan layout, the space encourages easier partnership across departments as well as increased and enhanced meeting room space. The two main open-plan office areas accommodate the Pre-Construction, Business Operations, and Finance departments, as well as multiple hot desks which are available for flexible working, visiting staff, and group projects. Our new office also benefits from multiple private offices, designated for senior management, offering privacy when needed.

‍

A key feature, and very much enjoyed by the team, is the dedicated rest and recreation zone designed to promote relaxation & team connection. This includes a modern open plan kitchen, pool table, darts board, and a quiet room.

‍

The space has been influenced by a dedicated team of interior designers and Magrock’s Managing Director, Richard Brewer, delivered by the Magrock project team and supply chain. The overall design balances functionality with rest, using contemporary furnishings, natural and ambient lighting, with the intent to foster innovation and teamwork.

‍

Delivering a project of this quality within such a compressed timeframe required a joined‑up approach across design, delivery, and subcontractors. The result is a premium, employee‑focused workspace, delivered on time and to the highest standards of workmanship and finishes throughout.
