Project Completion: Indurent Park, Access 18 Avonmouth, Bristol

Magrock has completed its largest project to date Indurent Park Access 18 Avonmouth, a premium industrial and logistics space in a sustainably designed environment. Celebrating a decade of construction, delivering a project of this size reflects the continued growth that Magrock is showing year on year, and an unwavering ability to deliver at scale as well as on time.

Delivered under a design and build contract, the scheme comprises of four industrial units providing approximately 230,000 sqft of industrial and logistics space, complete with integrated office accommodation and extensive external works across the full site. Each unit was designed and built to Indurent's high specification, with BREEAM Excellent achieved across the board and delivery managed under a strict embodied carbon management plan.

With Sainsbury’s confirmed as the tenant for Unit 28, we were able to deliver a full programme of enhancement works for them alongside the main build, including internal gantry installation, vehicle wash, fuel island and weighbridge, delivering a fully operational and tenant-ready unit, whilst remaining on programme.

The significant earth and ground improvement works demanded careful planning throughout, not least because of a protected water vole habitat that surrounds the site which required a considered approach at every stage. For Magrock, looking after the natural environment isn’t just part of the job, it’s part of a longer-term commitment to sustainable construction.

Construction Director, Brad Harris, said: "We are delighted to see the conclusion of Indurent Park, Avonmouth Units 27-30. A huge thank you to our amazing project team who should be extremely proud of delivering a first in class project.

The scheme was noted for its many challenges, particularly in the earthworks and ground improvements, and we thank our supply chain for their continued support in making this project a success. A final thank you to Indurent and KAM for their collaborative approach throughout the construction process, making this project a real team delivery."

Completing a scheme of this size and complexity during Magrock's tenth year puts the last decade into perspective. The projects have grown in scale and ambition, with each one bringing its own challenges, but the approach has remained the same. That approach comes down to people. With each stage of growth, Magrock has built a team that genuinely works as one, from site through to head office, sharing the same values and taking pride in every project they deliver.

The Avonmouth project reinforces Magrock’s commitment to programme certainty, high‑quality delivery, environmental performance, and uncompromising health and safety at scale. Whilst the scale of the scheme showcases our capability to meet evolving sustainability objectives and net-zero ambitions.

Magrock would like to thank Indurent, KAM Project Consultants, Roberts Limbrick and the entire supply chain and project team involved in delivering yet again another successful project, which has exceeded expectations.
