Attic Self Storage marked the beginning of our journey in the self‑storage sector and laid the foundations for what has become a key area of growth in our expertise. This flagship project showcased our capability to manage the full design and build of complex, multi‑storey storage facilities—from initial enabling works through to final operational readiness.

Following site preparation, Magrock constructed the new purpose‑built facility, complete with upgraded access roads, customer parking, service yards, and high‑quality landscaping. Ground improvement works were delivered using the rigid inclusion method, providing a stable platform for the pour of a ground‑bearing slab. From there, the structural steel frame was erected, forming the backbone of the four‑storey building.

With the framework in place, Magrock installed the complete external envelope, including curtain walling, fenestration, and composite cladding panels. Achieving full weather‑tightness early enabled internal works to progress efficiently and without interruption.

The final stage of the project involved a comprehensive internal fit‑out, transforming the shell into a fully operational self‑storage environment. This included the creation of premium office and administrative spaces, bespoke storage units, and the installation of tailored mechanical and electrical systems designed to meet the specific functional demands of a modern self‑storage operation.
